Start with a trial month.
I'm taking on a small number of founding clients. The trial month is $150 if you already have QuickBooks Online set up, or $250 if you want me to set it up for you. I get your books started, you see the work firsthand, and if we continue to work together, the full trial fee comes off your first regular month. Terms are laid out in a simple service agreement before we start.
Know a business owner who needs help with their books? Refer them. When they sign, you both get $50 off a regular month.
Common questions
What does bookkeeping do for me?
Clean books show you where your money comes from and where it goes. You can see which jobs or products make money, what you owe, and who owes you, so you make decisions with real numbers instead of guesses. Problems show up early, and you have what you need at tax time or when a bank asks for your financials.
What do I need to get started?
Just reach out by text or email. If you already use QuickBooks Online, I'll ask for access to your file and bank feeds. If you don't, I can set it up for you.
How does the trial month work?
It's $150 if your QuickBooks is already set up, or $250 if I set it up. If we continue to work together, the full trial fee comes off your first regular month. If not, the fee isn't refunded. The trial covers about 100 transactions and one bank account.
What if my books are behind or a mess?
Cleanup and catch-up is $45 an hour. I'll take a quick look at your books first and give you a quote before any work starts.
Will you send invoices or collect from my customers?
No. You send your own invoices from QuickBooks, and following up with customers stays with you or your collections. I record payments when they come in, and your monthly report shows who owes you.
Do you do taxes?
No. I do bookkeeping only, and nothing on this site is tax or legal advice. For tax questions, you'll want a tax professional.
How many transactions are in a monthly package?
Starter covers up to about 100 transactions a month and Standard covers up to about 200. If you're over that, I'll let you know and we'll talk about it before anything changes.
